Zach Bryan

Zach Bryan was born in Japan while his family was on an expedition with the US Navy, but grew up in Oklahoma, in Oologah. Son of Dewayne Bryan and Annette DeAnn Mullen, he has a sister, Mackenzie. He will continue the family tradition, becoming a member of the U.S. Navy's air force, from which he is then honorably discharged in 2021 so he can dedicate himself full time to music.

He began publishing self-produced songs on YouTube in 2017 with the help of a friend. In 2019 he made his debut single Heading South available, which went viral and preceded the release of his first album DeAnn, dedicated to his deceased mother. She followed up with a second LP, Elizabeth, in 2020, while in 2021 she made her Grand Ole Opry debut and signed a recording contract with Warner Records. His first major-label album, American Heartbreak, was released in May 2022 and debuted in the top five on the Billboard 200, earning the biggest debut of the year for a country album. From it the single Something in the Orange was extracted, which ranked in the top ten of the Billboard 100.
