Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling, born in 1980, began his career as a child, first as a member of the Mickey Mouse Club and then as a performer in television series, including Young Hercules. He began working in cinema in 2000 After achieving international success thanks to the romantic film The Pages of Our Lives, Gosling received his first Oscar nomination for his role in Half Nelson.

In 2008 he received a Golden Globe nomination for Lars and in 2011 a further nomination for Blue Valentine. 2011 proves to be an important year for the actor, who appeared in three major films: the comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love, the political drama The Ides of March, for which he received a double nomination at the 2012 Golden Globes, and the thriller Drive. In 2014 he made his directorial debut with the film Lost River. In 2017 he is the protagonist of the sequel to Blade Runner, Blade Runner 2049 film directed by Denis Villeneuve.

For his portrayal of him in the musical film La La Land he won his first Golden Globe, a film for which he also received his second nomination for the Oscar as best leading actor. Gosling is also a musician, having founded the indie rock musical duo Dead Man's Bones, and is an activist who fights for various humanitarian causes.

Since September 2011 he has been in a relationship with the actress and model Eva Mendes, whom he met on the set of Come Un Thunder. The couple has two daughters: Esmeralda Amada, born September 12, 2014, and Amada Lee, born April 29, 2016.
