Miley Cyrus, born in 1992, became famous thanks to the role of Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana in the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana.

After getting back together in 2016, Hemsworth and Cyrus married on December 23, 2018 at their home in Franklin, Tennessee. On August 10, 2019, after just eight months of marriage, the couple announced their separation. Eleven days later Hemsworth filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. She was later engaged for a short period to the American blogger Kaitlynn Carter and the Australian singer Cody Simpson. The end of relationships with Hemsworth, Carter and Simpson all inspired the writing of the lyrics of the song Midnight Sky. In April 2022 the artist revealed that she had embarked on a relationship with Liily Maxx drummer Morando.

In November 2019 she underwent surgery to correct chronic inflammation of the vocal cords due to Reinke's edema, which could have worsened even further in the following years.
