Chris Brown was born in Tappahannock, May 5, 1989. Being described by the media and critics as one of the greatest urban music talents of his time, Brown has gained a cult following and wide comparisons to Michael Jackson for his stage presence as a singer-dancer.

His musical style is often referred to as multifaceted, his R&B being characterized by various influences from other genres, predominantly from hip hop and pop. His lyrics mostly revolve around themes of sex, romance, the fast life, longing, regret, and emotional strife.

With over 140 million copies sold, he is the seventh artist with the most entries on the US charts, he has received numerous accolades, including a Grammy Award, fifteen BET Awards, six Soul Train Music Awards and four Billboard Music Awards .

He made his debut in 2005 with the album Chris Brown at the age of 16. The album featured the lead single Run It!, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making Brown one of the few to top the chart with his debut single.

During his career he has also collaborated on numerous successful hits, including No Air with Jordin Sparks, International Love with Pitbull and Freaky Friday with Lil Dicky, arriving to collaborate with the most prominent figures of the hip-hop / R&B scene, including Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Nas, Future, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Busta Rhymes, Usher, R.
