
Eva Longoria was born on March 15, 1975 in Texas, and has Mexican ancestry. From a very young age she embarked on a modeling career.
Eva got her first television role in 1999 after meeting executive producer Gary Ghiaey at a political reception in Los Angeles. In fact, she appeared in an episode of Beverly Hills 90210. In the same year she made another appearance in General Hospital. She rose to fame between 2001 and 2003, when she played the psychopathic Isabella Braña Williams in the soap opera The Young and the Restless.
After this experience she took part in the drama Dragnet, before making herself known internationally with the television series Desperate Housewives, from 2004: in this, she plays the sensual model Gabrielle Solis, who married young Carlos Solis, a wealthy entrepreneur who gets stuck in business wrongdoing and with whom he will later have two daughters: Juanita Solis and Celia Solis. For her role as Gabrielle, Longoria received a 2006 Golden Globe nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Eva Longoria was married to actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004 and to basketball player Tony Parker from 2007 to 2010. She has been married since 2016 to José Antonio Baston, a television producer, with whom she has one son.
