John Cena

John Cena began his professional wrestling career in November 1999 with Ultimate Pro Wrestling, where he held the UPW Heavyweight Championship once; He then signed a developmental deal with the then World Wrestling Federation making his main roster debut in June of 2002. Overall he has won the WWE Championship thirteen times and the World Heavyweight Championship three times, making him a sixteen-time WWE Champion.

Cena also held the United States Championship five times, the World Tag Team Championship twice, and the WWE Tag Team Championship twice. He has won two editions of the Royal Rumble match (ed. 2008 and ed. 2013), three editions of the Elimination Chamber match (2006, 2010 and 2011) and the 2012 edition of the Money in the Bank.

He is in fourth place in the list of WWE champions for number of days overall and after Hogan and Sammartino is third in the list of wrestlers who have been world champions for multiple consecutive single years. He also holds the record for most WWE pay-per-view events won in one year.

Outside of wrestling he released the rap album You Can't See Me (2005), which debuted at number 15 on the US Billboard 200, and starred in the films Death Grip (2006), 12 Round (2009) , Legendary (2010), The Perfect Sisters (2015), Daddy's Home (2015) and The Suicide Squad (2021). He has also made several guest appearances on television shows including Deal or No Deal, Saturday Night Live, Punk'd and Psych, as well as being a guest at the 2006 Sanremo Music Festival.

Since 2017, he has taken on a part-timer role to pursue a film career.
