Jane Fonda

Jane Fonda, born in 1937, won two Academy Awards for Best Actress: one in 1972 for Klute and another in 1979 for Coming Home. During her career she has also won seven Golden Globes, two BAFTA Awards, an Emmy Award and a David di Donatello. In 2017 she was awarded the Golden Lion for her career at the Venice Film Festival and in 2021 the Golden Globe for her career.

Jane Fonda married Roger Vadim, with whom she had daughter Vanessa. She later married Tom Hayden, with whom she conceived son Troy Garity. She was arrested by the police on October 11, 2019 and then released a few hours later for having participated in an environmental demonstration. In fact, La Fonda, together with 15 other activists, had not left the Campidoglio staircase as ordered by the authorities. She was arrested again on October 21st, November 9th and December 21st of the same year.
