
Gerard Piqué, born in 1987 is a former Spanish soccer player, defender, current president of FC Andorra and former star of Barcelona.
With 37 trophies won, he is one of the ten most successful players in football history, winning an English League Cup, a Community Shield, an English championship, eight Spanish championships, seven Copa del Rey, six Spanish Super Cups, four UEFA Champions Leagues, three UEFA Super Cups and three FIFA Club World Cups.
With the Spanish national team, he took part in three world championships (2010, 2014 and 2018), two European championships (2012 and 2016) and two Confederations Cups (2009 and 2013), winning the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship and reaching the place of honor in the 2013 Confederations Cup.
He was until 2022 the companion of the Colombian singer Shakira. The end of their relationship had a wide resonance, due to the soccer player's alleged betrayals against the Colombian pop star, and Shakira's famous revenge song.
