Erik Ten Hag

Erik ten Hag is a soccer coach, manager of Manchester United.

After his career as a player (1989-2002), in which he won two trophies, he began coaching. In 2012 he took charge of the Go Ahead Eagles, immediately obtaining promotion to the Eredivisie. After only one year he moved to Bayern Munich II, where in two years he won a Regionalliga. Between 2015 and 2017 he was the coach of Utrecht. From 2017 to 2022, however, he sits on the Ajax bench, with which he wins three Dutch Championships, two Dutch Cups and one Dutch Super Cup. Since 2022 he has been coaching Manchester Utd, where he has won an English League Cup.

Individually, he has been awarded the Rinus Michels Award three times. On 21 April 2022 he was announced as the new Manchester United manager, starting from the following season, replacing Ralf Rangnick.
