Brooklyn Joseph Peltz Beckham was born in London on March 4, 1999. He is the son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham. It is said to be called Brooklyn because he was conceived in Brooklyn, New York, but it is actually where his mother found out she was pregnant and where David Beckham went after the 1998 World Cup.

He grew up in Madrid, Spain , while his father played for Real Madrid and in Los Angeles, California when David Beckham played for the LA Galaxy. He and his younger brothers Romeo and Cruz learned to speak Spanish fluently, perfecting their American accent while living in California. He has three younger brothers: Romeo Beckham, Cruz David and sister Harper Seven. His godparents are Elton John, David Furnish and Elizabeth Hurley.

He dated American actress Chloë Grace Moretz, with whom he attended the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Support of Hillary Clinton. He had previously dated French singer-songwriter Sonia Ben Ammar.

His current partner is American actress Nicola Peltz. Brooklyn and Nicola started dating in 2019. In January 2020 they formalized their relationship on Instagram, while on July 11 of the same year they announced their engagement. They got married on April 9, 2022 in the luxurious Palm Beach villa owned by the bride's family.
