Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum, born in 1973, is a German naturalized American supermodel, stylist and TV presenter. In 1992 she participates in the Model 92 beauty contest where the nineteen-year-old student Klum imposes herself among about 25,000 competitors, she appears in the German program Late-Night-Show Gottschalk conducted by Thomas Gottschalk.

She wins the contest, earning her a modeling contract with a guaranteed minimum salary of $300,000. Heidi is happy about it, but she refuses the offer in order to be able to complete her studies at the Integrierte Gesamtschule Paffrat in Bergisch Gladbach.

In the summer of 1992 she gave up her degree as a fashion designer to pursue a modeling career and began presenting herself at the first castings. Her career begins in Hamburg, but later she moves to Paris and then to Milan. In 1993 she moved to Miami and then to New York, where she still lives in an apartment in Manhattan.

Heidi Klum's success begins in 1997 when she participates in her first fashion show, in 1999 she is offered a contract by her Angelo for Victoria's Secret. She was the only model, together with Adriana Lima, to have had the opportunity to wear the Fantasy Bra, the famous diamond studded bras, on three different occasions.
