Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell, born 1959, is a British television personality and record producer. He gained popularity by participating as a juror from 2002 to 2010 on the British television program The X Factor where he selected the members of the multinational group Il Divo and, together with singer Nicole Scherzinger, formed the internationally famous group One Direction.

As a producer he created the format America's Got Talent, which was followed by Britain's Got Talent, Australia's Got Talent and Italia's Got Talent, focused on finding entertainment personalities among the participating public. Another creation of his is the game show Red or Black?

On February 14, 2014 he became father to Eric, with his partner Lauren Silverman. On August 9, 2020, while testing his new electric bike near his house in Malibu, he fell and broke his back. He underwent surgery that lasted five hours.
