Jeremy Clarkson

Jeremy Clarkson is a British journalist, essayist and television presenter, best known for co-presenting the automotive shows Top Gear, from 2002 to 2015 and, since 2015, The Grand Tour alongside Richard Hammond and James May.

He also writes weekly columns for The Sunday Times and The Sun. Since 2018 he has hosted the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

His ironic and provocative style, both in private and as a presenter, has often attracted criticism from the media, politicians and the public. Clarkson does however have a considerable following, both in England and abroad, being credited as a major proponent of the resurgence of Top Gear as one of the BBC's most popular shows.

In 1993 he married his manager, Frances Cain, with whom he has three children. The couple divorced in 2014. He has been in a relationship with Irish actress Lisa Hogan since 2017. Clarkson lives on an estate near Chadlington, a hamlet of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, where his Amazon Prime Video show Clarkson's Farm was set.
