Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan is a Hong Kong actor, martial artist, stuntman, film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor and singer.

Chan is one of the most famous oriental action movie actors in the world: he has shot over 200 films and is known for his particular fighting style that blends Chinese martial arts with the typical mimicry of silent cinema, with the use of spectacular scenes from action in which he gets involved in the first person and with the use of improvised and unconventional weapons, always being careful not to lead to gratuitous violence.

In this regard, the actor has pointed out many times that in his films there is no real violence, but clean violence, which does not disturb, also because his films are aimed at an audience of young people, always relying on comedy and on the funny scenes that see him as the protagonist.

A peculiarity and sign of recognition of his films are the bloopers that Chan inserts at the end of the film, in which it is clearly seen that he himself does the dangerous scenes, without the use of stunt doubles, or in which there are various errors.

He is also the singer of many of the songs featured in his own films. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the consultative institution charged with representing the main political parties of the People's Republic of China. On February 26, 2017 he received the Oscar for his career.
