Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway was born in New York, November 12, 1982. She gained public recognition for her leading roles in well-known films, such as Pretty Princess (2001), Ella Enchanted (2004), Brokeback Mountain (2005) , The Devil Wears Prada (2006), Love and Other Cures (2010), Alice in Wonderland (2010), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Interstellar (2014), and previously in the film Rachel Getting Married (2008 ), for which she received her first Best Actress Academy Award nomination and a Critics' Choice Award win.

In 2010 she won an Emmy for her voice acting role in the animated TV series The Simpsons. In 2012 she obtained wide acclaim for her interpretation of Fantine in the film Les Misérables, for which she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress, the BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress, the Critics ' Choice Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Motion Picture Supporting Actress.

In 2008 she met Adam Shulman, jewelry designer, at the Palm Springs Film Festival. The two begin dating in November of the same year; in November 2011 their engagement was made official. The two were married on September 29, 2012 in Big Sur, California, in an interfaith Jewish-Christian ceremony. The couple have two sons, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, born March 24, 2016, and Jack, born December 2019.

She recently admitted that she doesn't like being called Anne, preferring Annie instead, since Anne is her mother's way of calling her when she's upset.
