Pokemon GO presents the Halloween event!

Niantic has released big news for Pokemon GO Halloween 2022 event! The event will be divided into two parts: the first part will be held from Thursday 20 October 2022 at 10:00 local time until Thursday 27 October 2022 at 10:00 local time.

A special quest will be available for free for all players in which you can help Professor Willow and Rhi to find out more about Yamask and Yamask of Galar. The Special Research can be redeemed from Thursday, October 20, 2022, 10:00 a.m.

to Tuesday, November 1, 2022, 10:00 a.m. local time. During the event, it will be possible to buy two tickets that will allow access to two separate timed searches. The former costs $ 0.99 and allows for encounters with Galar's Yamask and Yamask.

While the second is available for purchase for $ 4.99 and grants access to a timed search with greater chances of getting candy bonuses, additional Halloween-themed tasks and an avatar pose. Being timed, missions must be completed and redeemed by November 1st at 10:00 am local time.

In the third week of October, MegaBanette will make its megaraid debut and you will be able to meet Shiny Galar's Noibat and Yamask for the first time in the game. Pokéstop and Gyms will be decorated on a theme and, during the night, in the background, we will be able to hear a remix of Lavender Town music.

From the 7 km eggs it will be possible to hatch Yamask, Yamask of Galar, Noibat (all three available for the first time in their shiny version), Golett and Phantump. During the event, the in-game Creepy Shop Pose will be updated to include zombie-like movement.

This update will apply to all completed and future purchases of the installation. The bonus of the event are: Candies doubled by catching Pokémon. Doubled hatching candies. Candy doubled by transferring Pokémon. Trainers starting at level 31 will get a guaranteed XL candy when walking with their partner.

In five-star raids we will be able to find Giratina in Altered Form, also available in a chromatic version. It will be possible to catch the Pokémon that knows the Shadow Force legacy. In the three-star raids there will be Gengar, Umbreon, Drifblim and Drapion. In one-star raids Yamask, Yamask of Galar and Sableye, Purrloin and Phantump.
