John Felix Anthony Cena was born on 23 April 1977, in West Newbury, Massachusetts, the second son of John Sr.
and Carol Cena's five boys. His father was a businessman and wrestling announcer known as 'Jonny Fabulous.' His father is of Italian descent and mother, of English and French-Canadian descent. He studied at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts then later transferred to Crushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts.
