Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott (actual name: Melissa Arnette Elliott) was born on July 1, 1971, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia, United States.

Missy Elliott is 51 years old. Her parents are Ronnie Elliott, who is a U.S. Marine but no longer on active duty and currently working as a Shipyard welder and Patricia Elliott, who is a power company dispatcher. She is an only child of her parents.
