Tee Grizzley (actual name: Terry Sanchez Wallace) was born on March 23, 1994, in Detroit, Michigan, United States.
Tee Grizzley's parents were always on and off from the jail so he was raised by his grandmother in the Joy Road area of Detroit. Sadly his mother was sentenced for 15 years in jail for drug trafficking in 2011 and his father was also murdered in 2012.
Tee Grizzley was first in generations from his family to go to the University. He went to Michigan State University to study finance and accounting. But after he was broke and no way left, he started robbing other dormitories with a friend and stole $20,000 worth of electronics and money in February 2014.
Then on February 27, Tee Grizzley and his friend were apprehended but were released on pending investigation. During that time Wallace ran from there and fled to Kentucky. But there too, Tee was involved in the robbery at a jewelry store in Lexington, Kentucky.
Tee Grizzley got sentenced for nine months for robbery and was released on October 16, 2016, from Jackson State Prison in Michigan.

Tee Grizzley developed an interest on rapping in rap since he was in middle school. This led to the formation of a musical group, All Stars Ball Hard, along with Tee Grizzley and his friends, JR, Po and Lee and they began uploading their songs on YouTube.
After Tee Grizzley went to jail, he still didn't give up the rapping, he took the rapping more serious than ever. He said that his record sales went up by three times after his song was featured on LeBron James Instagram post. His song, Teetroit was released on July 28, 2017. Tee Grizzley's single featuring Meek Mill was released on September 1, 2017, titled Beef.
