Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, 32, is an American rapper, singer, music producer, and songwriter is famous for his stage name 'Logic' He grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland and started taking interest in music from an early age and officially started a music career by releasing 'Logic: The Mixtape' in 2009.

Logic's Childhood & Early Life

Logic was given his father's name Robert Bryson Hall and the name 'Sir' was given by in front was given by his mother. He grew up in a broken family and went through bitter experiences as a child.

Logic's parents were addicted to alcohol and drugs and his brothers used to sell drugs. All his life he has seen his mother and sisters getting beaten up by men. He learned drug dealing and making crack cocaine from his brothers.

A quarter of residents living in West Deer Park neighborhood were living in poverty. Logic was a student a school nearby, named Gaithersburg High School, but got expelled due to no attending classes most of the time and considerably having poor grades.

He found his interest in rap and hip-hop music after watching the Quentin Tarantino movie 'Kill Bill: Volume 1' at the 14 years old. At those time, Logic found his future mentor who guided him to create lyrics on instrumental beats.

But at the age of 17 to escape from an abusive mother, Logic ran away from home and soon was working two jobs and living on his own. At the same time, he used to work on music and sharpen his skills. Logic can be seen expressing his emotion purely through his songs but in person, he hardly opens it up.

Earlier in his life, Logic was a heavy smoker of marijuana and cigarette. Currently, he doesn't consume alcohol neither smokes marijuana, however, it is still challenging for him to quit smoking cigarettes.

Logic's Career

Logic officially started a music career by releasing 'Logic: The Mixtape' in 2009.

And in the same year, he started making a stage performances with his official and nonofficial mixtapes ''Psychological – Logic' with the stage name 'Psychological' He used to mostly perform an opening act from the already established rappers such as Pitbull, Ludacris, EPMD, Redman and Method Man.

After a year on 15 December 2010, he dropped his mixtape 'Young, Broke & Infamous' which received a lot of good reviews and made him count in one of the promising upcoming musicians. His mixtape was a viral by crossing 250,000 downloads online.

He then signed a deal contract with 'Visionary Music Group' The following year, Logic released his next mixtape, in fact, the first of his 'Young Sinatra' trilogy 'Young Sinatra' It was a big success as well which gave him more opportunity to reach out through the numbers of publications.

On 2012, April 30, he came up with another mixtape, 'Young Sinatra: Undeniable', with more expressive lyrics. He stated he wrote it for people who genuinely cared about him. His release was assisted by 'Visionary Music Group Tour' his first ever music tour.
Again in May 2013, Logic did two months long nationwide tour named 'Welcome to Forever Tour' to promote 'Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever' his new mixtape and made a headline.

His work was appreciated by his fans as well as critics for trying something new. And this time his mixtape was downloaded online for more than 700,000 times. He signed a record deal with 'Def Jam Recordings' and on October 21, 2014, released 'Under Pressure' his debut album.

It was reported that for the last two years he was working on his project, however, all the recording works were done in just two weeks. His singles 'Under Pressure' and 'Buried Alive' received a critically acclaimed. And with the success of his album, he appeared on television for the first time on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and made a performance with 'I'm Gone' song.

Since then till date Logic's released albums are The Incredible True Story (November 13, 2015), Everybody (May 5, 2017). On July 1, 2016, Logic released a mixtape called 'Bobby Tarantino' out of which his singles 'Flexicution' was listed on 'Billboard 100 single'

And on March 9, 2018, released an album with the same name 'Bobby Tarantino II' Logic's album, Young Sinatra IV is expected to be drop on September 28, 2018, and Ultra 85 on 2019.
