The incredibly prolific singer-songwriter Jelly Roll emotionally performed his new track, "I Am Not OK," drawing in a crowd in the live finale of "The Voice" in Los Angeles. Poignant in an acoustic kind of way, the new track ventures deep into the struggles people face with mental health, painting an often-hidden turmoil below a facade of composure.

The lyrics "I'm not okay, I'm barely getting by/I'm losing track of days, I'm losing sleep at night/I am not okay I'm just hanging on the rails/So if I say I'm fine, just know I learned to hide it well" really hit home, offering a look into Jelly Roll's personal battles.

The song continues with a hopeful yet realistic acknowledgment of the shared human experience, "I know I can't be the only one who's holding on for dear life/But I know God knows when it's all said and done/I'm not okay, but it's all gonna be alright/It's not OK, but we're all gonna be alright."

Anticipating Jelly Roll's LP

"I Am Not OK" serves as the second teaser from Jelly Roll's highly anticipated LP, his first major release since his breakout album "Whitsitt Chapel" in June 2023.

He also sang "Liar" at the 2024 ACM Awards from the pending album, another heartbroken tune. The release dates of the singles are still not announced but the anticipation builds each day among fans to hear the full album. Jelly Roll's dynamic touring schedule keeps the artist in the forefront of the country music scene.

Plans are in place for him to appear at this year's Gulf Coast Jam on the weekend of May 30 with two shows at the Grand Ole Opry in early June and he'll once again take the stage on summer festival bills at CMA Fest, Colorado's Country Jam, Nebraskaland Days as a special guest on Morgan Wallen's "One Night at a Time" tour.

Looking ahead, Jelly Roll will embark on his "Beautifully Broken" headlining tour in late August, promising more opportunities for fans to experience his powerful storytelling and raw emotional energy live.
