Renowned entertainer Tony Orlando is set to bid farewell to the stage with a series of unforgettable North American concerts. In an announcement made today, the legendary artist revealed the details of his "Farewell Concerts" tour, promising fans an emotional and memorable journey through his remarkable career.

The tour will kick off with a three-night extravaganza at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas, NV, from January 19th to the 21st. Following the opening shows, Orlando will continue to captivate audiences in various cities, including Niagara Falls, ON, Des Plaines and St.

Charles, IL, Atlantic City, NJ, and Uncasville, CT. One of the most poignant moments of the tour will undoubtedly be Tony Orlando's final performance in Las Vegas, where he has headlined for an impressive 51 years on the iconic Strip.

The curtains will close on his remarkable 62-year concert career on March 22nd, 2024, at Mohegan Sun's illustrious 10,000-seat arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Mohegan Sun's Honored Venue

Mohegan Sun's President of Sports & Entertainment, Tom Cantone, expressed his gratitude, stating, "We are honored that after such a historic entertainment and humanitarian career, Tony Orlando has chosen Mohegan Sun to host his final live performance." Cantone further noted that Orlando had entertained over 100,000 fans at Mohegan Sun over the years, a feat achieved only by the likes of Billy Joel, solidifying Orlando's place in the venue's entertainment family.

Notably, this tour marks Tony Orlando's 65th appearance at Mohegan Sun, spanning an impressive 23-year period. His contributions were further recognized in 2010 when he was inducted into Mohegan Sun's prestigious Walk Of Fame.

Reflecting on this milestone, Tony Orlando expressed his deep appreciation, saying, "I am so honored that my last concert will be at my favorite venue on Earth, Mohegan Sun Arena." He paid tribute to the dedicated work of Tom Cantone, stage crews, and staff, thanking them for their flawless support.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Mohegan Tribe, who had made him feel like family and fulfilled his dreams. Tony Orlando's illustrious career has earned him two American Music Awards, the People's Choice Award for Best Male Entertainer, and the Casino Entertainer of the Year award in 2016.

In addition, he received the Bob Hope Award for Excellence in Entertainment from the Congressional Medal Of Honor Society in recognition of his tireless advocacy for veterans. In 1990, Tony Orlando was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, a permanent testament to his outstanding achievements in the entertainment industry.
