In a tragic turn of events, a wrongful death lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Aaron Carter's two-year-old son, Princeton Lyric Carter, nearly a year after the singer's untimely demise. Carter was found lifeless in a bathtub in his California home in November 2022, and the circumstances surrounding his death have raised numerous questions.

The lawsuit alleges that doctors and pharmacies played a significant role in the Fool's Gold star's demise by improperly prescribing and dispensing medications that had a profound impact on his judgment and mental health.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, doctors allegedly prescribed potent medications like Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, and Alprazolam without any medical justification. These medications, when combined with Carter's well-documented mental health history and psychiatric condition, are believed to have had a detrimental effect on his overall well-being, ultimately leading to his tragic death.

Among the defendants named in the legal action is the prominent pharmacy chain, Walgreens.

Cause of Aaron Carter's Tragic Passing

Carter, aged 34 at the time of his passing, was discovered lifeless in his Lancaster, California home by his housekeeper on November 5, 2022.

The official cause of death was determined to be drowning after inhaling compressed difluoroethane, a dangerous practice known as "huffing," and ingesting alprazolam, commonly sold under the brand name Xanax. An autopsy revealed that Carter was "incapacitated while in the bathtub" and drowned due to the effects of these substances.

The lawsuit has been filed by Melanie Martin, Princeton's mother, seeking unspecified damages on behalf of their son. Jane Carter, the late singer's mother, has also been actively involved in seeking answers surrounding her son's death.

She has shared images of the bathtub and home, expressing doubts that her son's death was solely due to a drug overdose and suggesting foul play. Furthermore, Martin has submitted text message exchanges found on Carter's phone to the Los Angeles Police Department as potential evidence.

These messages hint at a mysterious drug deal that may have played a role in Carter's demise. The investigation into Aaron Carter's tragic passing continues, with his family and legal representatives committed to uncovering the truth behind the events leading to his untimely death.

The lawsuit and ongoing developments are expected to shed further light on this heartbreaking incident that has left many in the entertainment world and beyond deeply saddened.
