Drake's fresh album, "For All the Dogs," is causing quite the stir on social media. While the Grammy-awarded artist is no stranger to controversy, the chatter isn't necessarily centered around the beats or innovative lyrics of the album.

Instead, listeners have zoomed in on a specific track, "Another Late Night," where the 36-year-old rapper from Canada seemingly responds to the internet’s persistent scrutiny over his past bond with actor Millie Bobby Brown.

Drake raps, "Weirdos in my comments talkin’ ‘bout some Millie Bobby, look. Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin’." These lines allude to the critiques he's faced regarding his relationship with the then-teenage actress.

The world of X (previously known as Twitter) has naturally been abuzz with reactions. Several users like @corinisboring and @ocksportello were quick to chide the rapper for addressing the issue in a song. Some, like @MissKilahMarie, took the chance to remind others of past interviews where Brown, at age 14, discussed her rapport with Drake, sharing that he gave her relationship advice over texts.

Brown Defends Drake Friendship

In 2018, the "Stranger Things" star opened up about their close ties, praising Drake for his friendship and guidance. "He's honestly so fantastic. And a great friend and a great role model," she shared with Access Hollywood.

These comments sparked mixed reactions, compelling Brown to further clarify her stance on Instagram. She highlighted the genuine nature of their bond and urged fans to focus on more pressing issues. In light of the current social media storm, @MegYuup came to Drake's defense, criticizing netizens for blowing their relationship out of proportion.

It's worth noting that Drake has previously faced scrutiny for his interactions with younger female artists. Billie Eilish, at age 21 now, was also at the center of such speculations when she revealed she texted Drake. She too lauded Drake for his kindness, saying in a 2019 Vanity Fair interview, "He's the nicest dude [she’s] ever spoken to." This album release serves as a reminder that the line between private friendships and public fodder remains thin, especially in the digital age.
