In a recent heartfelt episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, celebrated artist Ciara opened up about the gradual realization that led to her breaking up with rapper Future. The 37-year-old "Level Up" singer candidly expressed to host Alex Cooper how her preferences evolved over time.

She likened the change to shifting taste buds and emphasized the significance of self-reflection. "Sometimes, you have to self-assess and ponder about the shifts you need to make in your own life," Ciara remarked. The birth of her son, Future Zahir, in May 2014, proved to be a game-changer for the singer.

Motherhood reshaped her priorities and amplified her responsibilities. "Having a child magnifies the gravity of your actions and decisions. It's a life for which I'm now accountable," she commented.

Ciara's Quest for Relationship Fulfillment

Continuing to explore her feelings, Ciara shared her yearning for contentment and fulfillment in relationships.

Recollecting her time with Future, she expressed, "Consistent exhaustion isn't what anyone seeks in a relationship." The multi-talented artist further discussed her subsequent relationship with NFL superstar, Russell Wilson.

The couple tied the knot in July 2016, welcoming two kids, Sienna and Win, and are currently expecting a third. However, Ciara's journey with Future has seen turbulence. While they jointly parent their son, there remains a palpable tension.

Future's recent track, “Turn Yo Clic Up,” seems to indirectly reference Russell Wilson, the Denver Broncos quarterback. In 2019, Future criticized Russell on FREEBANDZ RADIO, insinuating that he lacked control over Ciara's online remarks about him.

In a light-hearted moment during an interview with The Shade Room’s Thembi Mawema, Ciara laughed when asked about their co-parenting dynamics. Over time, Future has been vocal about his grievances against Ciara, including allegations of her restricting his access to their son.

The rapper even claimed he paid a hefty monthly child support, a statement which, according to a source close to Ciara, was aimed at leveraging her popularity to boost his music. The same source debunked Future’s claims, stating Ciara had never barred him from seeing their child.

In the world of celebrity, where relationships often play out in the public eye, Ciara's candid revelations provide a genuine look into her personal journey and evolving relationships.
