Madeline Edwards, celebrated for her involvement with CMT's Equal Access program and renowned for sharing stages with industry powerhouses such as Elle King, Chris Stapleton, and Alanis Morissette, is marking another significant collaboration.

This time, she's teaming up with Apple Music’s acclaimed series, "Lost & Found." Edwards offers her rendition of "More," an exclusive track from P!nk’s 2019 album "Hurts 2B Human." The song is a testament to the collaborative genius of Busbee and Ben West.

Apple Music’s "Lost & Found" is a unique series that throws the spotlight on undiscovered country gems, all impeccably recorded in cutting-edge Spatial Audio. This six-episode auditory journey is steered by the multi-Grammy-winning songwriter, Lori McKenna.

Through this platform, fans are granted an intimate look into the intricate craft of country songwriting. From raw demos to polished final versions, listeners experience the transformation of a song, supplemented by insightful conversations with industry insiders.

Edwards' Reluctance Over P!nk's Track

Diving into the specifics of "More," Edwards didn't hold back her initial reservations. In heart-to-heart discussions on "Today's Country" with host Kelleigh Bannen and during her interaction with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Edwards shared her trepidation about stepping into the shoes of an artist of P!nk's magnitude – a global icon with a staggering sale of 135 million records.

Likening it to reimagining an Adele track, Edwards confessed, "It was more of a challenge than anything." It wasn't until some personal rehearsal – in the sanctuary of her shower – that she felt ready. The significance of this project runs deep for Edwards.

"I never met Busbee, but his monumental influence as a songwriter resonates with me," she stated. This sentiment feels especially poignant considering Busbee's transformative work in the mid-2010s, including hits like Maren Morris's "My Church," and his untimely passing in 2019 due to glioblastoma.

McKenna echoed the enthusiasm around the "Lost & Found" series, saying, "Every songwriter has a catalog full of lost songs. Apple's initiative of spotlighting these almost-hits is commendable." Circle Oct. 6 on your calendars!

Edwards will grace the airwaves on "Today's Country Radio" with Kelleigh Bannen and "Lost & Found Radio" with Lori McKenna at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. CST, respectively, on Apple Music Country. For on-demand access, Apple Music subscribers can tune in on Oct. 2 at Apple Music Country.
