The iconic pop sensation, Britney Spears, is charting a fresh musical course, with plans for a new album in the works, even as she navigates the choppy waters of her divorce from Sam Asghari. Insiders close to the 'Princess of Pop' have exclusively revealed to Page Six about her collaboration with some renowned artists.

While Britney's fans are eagerly awaiting the release of her memoir, “The Woman in Me”, slated for an October 24 launch, there's buzzing excitement about potential music to accompany the book. A source close to the songstress mentioned, "Ideally, she'd love to do a record, perhaps even a song marking the book's release."

Spears' Musical Comeback Journey

This comes as a notable moment for Spears, who last graced her fans with an album, “Glory”, back in 2016.

Post her 13-year conservatorship, which concluded in November 2021, Spears released two tracks: “Hold Me Closer” with the legendary Elton John, and “Mind Your Business” alongside her recurrent musical partner, Will.i.am.

It's worth noting that Spears had previously been in talks about returning to the studio, even turning down a collaboration offer with the superstar, Beyoncé. A key insider shared with Page Six, "The true beauty of Britney's newfound freedom is her autonomy in making decisions, something she's been deprived of for years.

She's determined to move at her own pace." Recent reports have also highlighted Asghari's filing for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences" and requesting Spears to cover spousal support and legal fees. Troublingly, there are whispers of Asghari allegedly pushing for more than their prenuptial agreement stipulates, backed by threats of releasing sensitive information about Spears.

While Spears, represented by celebrity attorney Laura Wasser, remains tight-lipped on these claims, sources say she's maintaining a positive outlook. Highlighting the couple's journey, they first crossed paths in 2016, with their engagement following in September 2021, and wedding in June 2022.

This isn't Spears' first brush with marital challenges. She briefly married Jason Allen Alexander in 2004 and later Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons. With a whirlwind of emotions and events surrounding Spears, the world watches with bated breath for her next move in both her personal and professional life.
