Celine Dion decided to cancel her world tour after her diagnosis of an incurable neurological condition. Dion is sad and disappointed, but she is aware that her health must be a priority. Celine hopes that the situation will improve and that she will have the strength to be on stage again.
She is aware that fans are disappointed, but priorities must be known. "I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100 per cent. I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again.
It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again. I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!”- he said, as quoted by independent.co.uk
Celine Dion and stiff person syndrome
Celine Dion has stiff person syndrome.
This creates huge problems for her in her everyday life. In particular, Celine has a problem with using vocal cords. “Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to,” she said.
Her love for music and singing is what keeps her going in life. She tries in every way to be the old way again. “All I know is singing. It’s what I’ve done all my life and it’s what I love to do the most,” she said.
We hope that Celine's condition will improve in the near future and that she will be able to return to the stage. The world knows her for being a great fighter, as a person who has a never-say-die attitude. There is no doubt in our mind that she will prove it this time.
