During one of the guest appearances on the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast, the Jonas Brothers talked about many topics. Especially interesting was Nick Jonas, who recalled a moment in his career that now seems funny to him.

Nick experienced a blackout during the 2016 ACM Awards when he hit the wrong note. That moment was even the reason why he decided to go to therapy. "In retrospect, I can kind of laugh about how big I thought it was. But it did travel more than I wish it would have, and it did cause me to go to therapy," -he said, as quoted by ew.com It didn't seem like it would come to that for Nick Jonas.

However, it still happened. "I come out for my thing. I rehearsed it a million times. I'm feeling really confident about it — not even really thinking about it like it's a thing that's going to be problematic," he continued.

"I started off, it was fine and as I walked towards her, I just went completely blank and I hit a wrong note and blacked out basically and clocked that it was wrong and I couldn't stop."

Nick Jonas: It was a really traumatic moment

Nick Jonas marked that moment as one of the most traumatic.

The worst thing for him was that he could not predict what would happen. Striving for perfection was a huge problem for him. "Til this day and hours after unpacking it, I can't really figure out exactly what happened, but I was rushed to a car and rushed to a plane right after it," Jonas added.

v. It was a really traumatic moment that shaped the pressure I put on myself to be perfect and to always be on."

Nick Jonas realized over time that man was not created to be perfect, and that his perfection still lies in 'fallibility'
