Jana Kramer: After the divorce, I couldn't function. I worried about the children

Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin divorced two years ago. In an interview with E News, Kramer talked about the problems she faced after the divorce. Those were difficult moments, but over time she got used to it and things got better.

"That first month when I got divorced, I was just like, 'How are my kids even getting to school? I can't even function,'" Kramer said, as quoted by eonline.com "But I think the summer helped me. We were able to be outside and enjoy the sun and the warmth, so that was nice.

You just kind of get into a flow. And now I don't even know how it was before. You just make it work."

Jana Kramer on cooperation with her ex

Kramer has been able to find a common language with her ex-husband and is very cooperative with him.

In addition to being able to organize her time, Kramer was able to adapt to the demands of her children's lives. The fact that her ex-husband was willing to do whatever it took to ensure that the children were not suffering must have made it easier for her to deal with the situation.

"I have an amazing coparenting situation with my ex. It's like, 'Okay, when Jace has baseball, Jolie's got soccer. I didn't think we'd get to that place and we're there. It's like, 'No, we've got this. We'll figure it out.'

I think that piece has been really nice." In addition, Jana revealed that sometimes it is difficult to understand why children grow up so fast. It is amazing how fast time passes, and how much changes in such a short period of time "They're just cool little humans," Kramer said.

"And they're fun to play with and they want to play with me right now, which is something I'm very aware of. There will be a day when they don't want to. So I'm trying to embrace that as much as I can."
