It has been revealed by a source close to the couple that Taylor Swift and the British actor have called time on their relationship. Aside from the amicable nature of the break, there was no drama involved. After breaking up with actor Tom Hiddleston, the famous singer, who is currently on tour with her Eras album, began dating Joe Alwin in 2016.

The actor pointed out in an interview five years ago that his and the actress' privacy is of the utmost importance to them, and that both have kept their relationship out of the public eye. In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, he jokingly remarked that if I were to have a pound for every time I was asked if I was engaged, I'd have a lot of money.

"It is my understanding that people are interested in knowing as much as possible about that part of our lives as possible. It seems that we have managed to keep our private lives to ourselves successfully, and I think that people have finally come to accept it as well"-Joe Alwin also stated this.

Their relationship ended a few weeks ago, according to reports. Throughout her career, the singer expressed her feelings for the handsome Briton in many of her songs. During the pandemic, the couple collaborated on music and their work culminated in a Grammy award for an album of the same name.

Alwyn wrote several songs under the pseudonym William Bowery, and several of these songs have been included on the 2020 albums Folklore and Evermore. During the 2021 Grammy awards ceremony, Folklore won the award for album of the year, while Evermore was nominated for the same award at the 2022 Grammys ceremony.

It was during Swift's speech that she saluted the actor for his work. - Joe is the first person I play every song I write to, and it was the best for me to write songs with you in quarantine, she said.
