"Justice World Tour": Justin Bieber Cancels All of Upcoming Performances

Singer Justin Bieber has announced the cancellation of his upcoming tour "Justice World Tour" due to poor health. The announcement was made through the official Twitter page of the tour on Tuesday, March 1st, 2023. Fans who had purchased tickets for the tour will be automatically refunded.

Tour Postponements and Fan Reactions

The tour was set to take place in the USA, Australia, and Europe at the beginning of March 2023.

Bieber had postponed the tour several times and last summer, he opened up about his struggle with facial paralysis, which was caused by Ramsay Hunt syndrome. In September 2022, he made it clear that his health was his top priority.

Fans who had eagerly been waiting for the tour expressed a range of emotions upon hearing the news of its cancellation. Cade Harper, a 23-year-old fan from Aberdeen, who received tickets as a Christmas gift in November 2021, told BBC News, "I'm sad he has cancelled, but his health comes first, and I totally understand." On the other hand, Chrystabel Mangwendeza, a 24-year-old fan in Birmingham, expressed her disappointment and frustration at not being able to see Bieber perform, despite having spent around £140 on tickets.

She also noted that she felt Bieber could have been more considerate by making the announcement himself, rather than relying on the tour's official Twitter page.

Recent Success and Music Catalog Sale

Despite the cancellation of the tour, Bieber's career has been on the rise.

His latest album, featuring collaborations with Burna Boy, Chance the Rapper, and Khalid, reached number one in the US charts and number two in the UK charts in 2021. Furthermore, he recently sold his music catalog, including his copyright and publishing rights, to the Hipgnosis publishing house for an impressive 200 million US dollars.

While fans are disappointed by the cancellation of Justin Bieber's "Justice World Tour," they understand and support the singer's decision to prioritize his health. Despite the setback, Bieber's recent success and music catalog sale demonstrate his continued impact and relevance in the music industry.
