With her latest album "Renaissance" receiving nine Grammy nominations, it's no surprise that Beyonce is hitting the road for her first solo tour since 2016. The world tour, which will last for 43 days and visit cities across North America and Europe, was announced in an Instagram post by the singer herself, accompanied by a photo of her in a diamond-studded cowboy hat and underwear.
Exploring Freedom and Joy through Music
“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world,” Beyoncé wrote on Instagram in June.
“It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom.
It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and s*xy as you are”.
A Tour to Remember
The tour is set to kick off on May 10 in Sweden and will make stops in cities such as Brussels, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Paris, London, Barcelona, Marseille, Cologne, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Warsaw, with more dates and locations available on her official website.
With demand for tickets expected to be high, this is a tour that fans won't want to miss. Fans can register for Ticketmaster’s Renaissance tour sale via Beyoncé's website. In addition to the tour announcement, Beyonce recently made headlines for her performance at the opening of a luxury hotel in Dubai, where she was paid a whopping 24 million dollars for just one show.
As she gears up for the Grammy Awards this Sunday, where she has the most nominations, fans are speculating that the singer may make an appearance or even perform.
