Lady Gaga is no stranger to viral fame, and her latest hit "Bloody Mary" is no exception. The song, which is the eighth track on her 2011 album "Born This Way," has recently shot to the top of Shazam's Top 200 Global Hits list and has been trending on TikTok.

The dance craze can be traced back to Netflix's hit series "Wednesday," where actress Jenna Ortega performs an impressive and unique dance to the song during a prom scene with her love interest, Tyler Galpin (played by Hunter Doohan).

Fans of the show have taken to TikTok to recreate Ortega's dance and have even coined the term "Bloody Wednesday" to describe their own versions. But Lady Gaga herself has now joined in on the fun, posting a black-and-white video of herself undergoing a dramatic makeover before performing the dance herself.

In the video, Gaga is seen getting her hair styled and drawing on her eyebrows before transforming into a look fit for the Addams Family, complete with a short crop top and a black top with a frilled white collar.

It's no surprise that "Bloody Mary" has become such a hit thanks to Ortega's dance in "Wednesday." The scene has reportedly been replayed countless times by fans of the show, many of whom claim that it was the reason they started watching the series in the first place.

With Lady Gaga now getting in on the action, it looks like the "Bloody Wednesday" craze is here to stay.

Jenna Ortega plays Wednesday Addams

The series follows Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Adams during her years as a student at Nevermore Academy, where she tries to master her nascent psychic ability, prevent a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized a local town and solve the mystery of a murder 25 years ago.

"She doesn't blink," Ortega confirmed in a Nov. 21 interview on "The Today Show." "[Tim Burton] likes it when I tilt my chin down and look through my eyebrows, kind of like a Kubrick stare, and then I relax all the muscles in my face." "After trying one take where she didn't blink, Tim Burton was so enamored with the result he told Jenna Ortega not to blink anymore when playing Wednesday," the streamer wrote.

"So, she didn't." The series also stars Gwendoline Christie, Jamie McShane, Percy Hynes White, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Naomi J Ogawa, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, and Riki Lindhome. Also appearing are Christina Ricci, as well as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Fred Armisen, and Isaac Ordonez. It was directed by Tim Burton, with creators Al Gough and Miles Millar.
