Summer Auto Show in Newtown to Showcase Luxury Cars and Rare Rides

Rev up your engines and mark your calendars for a grand automotive extravaganza as the Newtown Antique and Classic Auto Show gears up to make its grand entrance. This year's event, slated to take place on the historic State Street in Newtown Borough, is already generating tremendous excitement among car enthusiasts and collectors alike.

On Sunday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., attendees will be treated to a spectacular showcase of over 150 vehicles spanning a century's automotive history. Dan Petty, esteemed show chairman and financial advisor with Edward Jones in Newtown, diligently works alongside the Newtown Business Association to ensure that this year's show exceeds all expectations.

With a remarkable range of cars on display, representing ten distinct classes from the early 1900s to the late 1990s, Petty guarantees a sensory feast for visitors. From specialty cars and former military vehicles to trucks, foreign cars, modified cars, and scorching hot rods, the diversity and richness of the exhibits promise an unforgettable experience for everyone.

However, what truly sets this year's Newtown Auto Show apart is the presence of marquee cars that epitomize luxury and opulence—the iconic Rolls-Royce and Bentley. These legendary brands have long been synonymous with automotive excellence, capturing the hearts of car enthusiasts worldwide.

Working in tandem with Petty, Paul Salvatore expresses sheer elation over featuring these prestigious marquee cars. Rolls-Royce, renowned for its unrivaled elegance and timeless allure, conjures images of old England and unparalleled refinement.

The prospect of showcasing such magnificent vehicles at the event has left Salvatore enthusiastic.

Rare Gems: Epstein's Exquisite Rides

The show's allure extends beyond the marquee cars, with Bucks County local Gene Epstein, a prominent car collector in Pennsylvania, adding his personal touch to the spectacle.

Epstein will proudly unveil two exceedingly rare vehicles, sure to captivate attendees. The first is his extraordinary 1950 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith, a unique masterpiece that secured first place at the Rolls-Royce Owner's Club Annual Meet in Gettysburg earlier this year and clinched the coveted Best in Show title at last year's Redcoats & Rebels show in Washington Crossing.

In addition, Epstein will grace the event with his resplendent 1940 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet, affectionately named "Rhapsody In Blue." This stunningly restored car is a faithful recreation of the all-blue Continental commissioned by renowned orchestra leader Paul Whiteman six decades ago, paying homage to his iconic theme song.

Epstein's participation at the Newtown Auto Show also serves a higher purpose: to raise awareness and support for Wheelz2work, a transformative nonprofit program he initiated in collaboration with the Bucks County Opportunity Council and the Bucks County Community College.

Wheelz2work facilitates the donation of used cars, providing low-income families enrolled in the Opportunity Council's Economic Self-Sufficiency Program with safe and reliable transportation for employment or education. The profound impact of this initiative will be felt throughout the show, with visitors given the opportunity to contribute through donations and raffle ticket purchases.

Paul Salvatore recognizes the significance of this collaboration, stating that it not only amplifies the grandeur of the show but also creates a life-changing difference in the community. Beyond the captivating display of cars and philanthropic efforts, the essence of the Newtown Antique and Classic Auto Show remains the same: fostering unity within the community.

Petty affirms that the show acts as a unifying force, bringing together individuals from all walks of life while raising awareness about Gene's exceptional program. The event seeks to celebrate automotive marvels and uplift and support the community in meaningful ways.

With Trinity Health (St. Mary Medical Center) serving as the presenting sponsor and prominent companies such as Weed Man, C&N, Thompson, Mosquito Hero, and Applebee's Neighborhood Grill offering their generous support, the Newtown Auto Show promises an unparalleled experience for attendees.

So, fasten your seatbelts and prepare to be dazzled by the extraordinary exhibition of automotive history, rare gems, and luxury vehicles that will grace the streets of Newtown this summer.
