In the early hours of Thursday, a man travelled from South Carolina to Beverly Hills with the intention of proposing to the internationally acclaimed singer, Rihanna. However, his grand gesture was met with arrest as he was caught trespassing at the pregnant singer's property.
Arrest and Release
According to TMZ, the man was promptly spotted by Rihanna's security team and was immediately taken into police custody. He was questioned by authorities but was later released as it was determined that he had not broken any laws.
Despite not being charged, the man was instructed to leave the property and not to return. It remains unknown whether the singer, her partner A$AP Rocky, or their one-year-old son were present at the time of the incident.
Past Intruders
This is not the first time that Rihanna has faced intruders at her home.
In 2018, Eduardo Leon spent 12 hours inside the star's house before he was found by her assistant. When he was arrested, Leon claimed that he had intended to have sexual intercourse with the singer, who thankfully was not home at the time.
Following the incident, Rihanna was granted a criminal protection order against him. In 2013, Jonathan Whooper was arrested for multiple trespasses at the singer's LA mansion, including an instance where he threw a chair through one of her glass doors.
In 2012, an obsessed fan broke into Rihanna's Barbados villa and made it within 12 feet of the star before being apprehended by security.

The security alert comes after the singer's recent announcement that she is expecting her second child with rapper A$AP Rocky.
