In the wake of the tragic passing of singer Aaron Carter, his mother, Jane Carter, has taken to social media to share photos from the scene of her son's death in an effort to reinvigorate the investigation into the circumstances surrounding his passing.
The photos, which show a bathroom littered with dirty clothes and a bathtub filled with green water, were posted by Jane Carter herself and were not taken by law enforcement
.A Call for a Thorough Investigation
In a heartfelt post accompanying the photos, Jane Carter stated her reasons for sharing the gruesome images: "I want to share these death scene photos with you all because the coroner wrote it off as an accidental drug overdose.
I am still trying to get a real investigation for the death of my son." She went on to express her belief that her son's death was not the result of a drug overdose, citing his history of receiving death threats and the ongoing struggle with addiction and mental health issues.
Questioning the Initial Investigation
Jane Carter also took issue with the way the investigation was conducted, stating, "They never investigated it as a possible crime scene because of his addiction past." She also pointed out inconsistencies in the scene, such as towels that were "perfectly placed," despite the maid who discovered Aaron's body allegedly "dragging him out of the bathtub and giving him CPR!!!" Jane concluded her post by stating firmly, "A proper investigation was not done." 
Support from Family and Friends
Despite the shocking nature of the photos, Jane Carter maintains that she has the support of her closest family and friends in her quest for answers.
In a follow-up post, she explained that the reason for sharing the images was because they had not been taken seriously by law enforcement in Lancaster, California, where Aaron Carter passed away. She went on to express her frustration, saying, "Because of my son's mental illness and prescription drug issues, they just wanted it to be something easy that they didn't have the time or inclination to address." 
A Demand for Justice
In the face of widespread disgust from fans, Jane Carter remains resolute in her pursuit of justice for her late son.
She stated, "It's because we are not and have not been taken seriously by Law Enforcement." She went on to say, "We want answers. We want justice. There are people who must be held accountable." Jane Carter's decision to share the photos from the scene of Aaron Carter's death serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing need for thorough investigations and accountability in cases of sudden and unexpected loss.
