Rapper Kayne West is under investigation for an incident that occurred on the streets of California on Thursday, January 28th. The incident, caught on camera by a woman, shows West approaching the person filming him, taking her cell phone, and throwing it on the street.
The incident reportedly took place as West was leaving his daughter North's basketball game. According to sources, West noticed that he was being followed by the media and stopped to address them. It is unclear whether the woman he attacked was a journalist or simply a fan of his, but in the video, West can be seen getting out of his car and confronting the woman while she was filming him from her vehicle.
His new wife, Bianca Censori, can also be seen in the passenger seat of his car but does not appear to be involved in the incident.

West's Aggressive Confrontation
In the video, West can be heard saying, "Y’all ain’t going to run up on me like that.
Stop with your cameras." The woman, who was filming, tried to explain that she can film him because he is a celebrity. West then reached for her cell phone and threw it away. As he walked away, he allegedly confronted a reporter, but it is unclear what he said to make him stop filming.
In a separate video published online Friday, West can also be seen demanding that photographers leave him alone. "You want me to be running up on your kids’ games like that?” he tells one person. "Everybody has got to stop when I see my kids,” West says.
“I need to see my kids without you photographing. It’s called human rights”.
According to police sources, Ventura County Sheriff's Department deputies were called to the scene and video evidence of the incident was provided.
The woman who was attacked was seen leaving the police station. The Ventura County Sheriff's Department is currently investigating the incident and has not yet made any official statements. West has a history of confrontations with the media and has previously begged the media to leave him alone.
This incident marks yet another instance of West's aggressive behavior towards the media, and it remains to be seen what consequences he will face.
