Oscar winners Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are gearing up for yet another movie production that will definitely be some derivation of a crime thriller titled “RIP”. The movie is still being shopped around, but it seems to have quite the potential to become another successful piece of cinema, complete with the dramatic plot line and adrenaline-pumping action scenes.

“RIP” is to be directed by Joe Carnahan, who has worked on quite a number of action movies, including “Smokin’ Aces” and “The Grey. ” Although Carnahan will direct the film, he also writes the script for the much-anticipated movie.

Despite keeping multiple aspects of the plot a secret, it is known that the shooting of the project is set to start later this year, thereby suggesting the fact that it contains a dense and twisty plot embroiled in mystery and suspense.

Affleck and Damon are confirmed producers who work on the big picture through their production firm, Artists Equity. This cooperation is another large-scale project for the pair in pursuit of their latest undertaking, which is the so-called’ – a movie focused on the Air Jordan brand in which Affleck acted as a director.

Their relationship remains firm today as they explore the cinematic world with the synergy and power of creativity embodied in them.

Artists Equity: Profit-Sharing Pioneer

Artists Equity, with Affleck and Damon in the frontline, is among those organizations that have grown to become significant in the film.

The company has employed the best strategies embracing its filmmaking focus, especially on its philosophy of profit-sharing, with most of the people joining a given production even at the ‘below industry line’.

This model is expected to change the culture of sharing financial risk and rewards in filmmaking to that of a more industry standard. The production house is already set for a tremendous line-up with ‘Small Things Like These’ that features Cillian Murphy; the movie premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and got a deal with Lionsgate for distribution.

Yet another promising project which is currently in the works is the sequel to “The Accountant” – an action thriller with Affleck attached to it that has hit Amazon MGM. Moreover, the company has the Jennifer Lopez movie called “Unstoppable” in development, which should also offer another hit within the Artists Equity film studio.

The show Affleck and Damon by WME is excellent proof of its power, mainly due to the tenacity of the two influential actors in the entertainment market. Whenever “RIP” is made, it can be seen that ‘Spur’ is not only a reunion of two stars but proves that Mero and Basnet have not switched off their creative mode and are ready to set the trend in the tale-making approach.
