Sylvester Stallone, renowned actor and Hollywood icon, has embarked on a new endeavor that ventures beyond the realms of his action-packed movies. He has embraced the reality television format, reminiscent of the popular Kardashian franchise, with the premiere of his show "The Family Stallone" on Thursday, exclusively streaming on Paramount+.
Unveiling the Entertaining and Relatable Lives of the Stallone Family
Through an unscripted lens, Stallone has opened the doors of his exquisite abode, allowing the cameras to capture the ebb and flow of his daily life alongside his daughters Sophia (26), Sistine (24), and Scarlet (20).
Within the captivating episodes, the actor dedicates a significant portion of his time guiding his daughters through the intricacies of their love lives, offering profound lessons along the way. Reflecting on this novel project, Stallone expressed, "So what you see here is what you get.
This is what we've been wanting to do for a long time, which is share our life a little bit because it's entertaining." He emphasized that the show carries a deeper message, highlighting the universal nature of human desires and needs despite material wealth. "It also has a message that no matter what you have, we may have all the trappings of wealth and we're very fortunate, we still have the same issues and the same wants and the same needs and the same requirements for love, and so it's there for everyone to see."
Raw Vulnerability Takes Center Stage
The Stallone daughters, featured prominently alongside their father, expressed their enthusiasm for the show's reception.
Sistine remarked, "We've featured our whole family on it, and everyone was so shocked that they were just so funny and relatable and gave great business advice. I think people just kept wanting to see more and more." Addressing comparisons to the wildly successful Kardashian phenomenon, Stallone gracefully acknowledged their brilliance and originality while underscoring his show's distinctive approach.
"I think the Kardashians were brilliant in what they did and very original; we're taking a different tack," he shared. "But the main thing is you don't try to copy someone. That's who they are, we are who we are, and that's what I think gives the audience a variety." Contrary to the conventions of traditional reality series, the Stallone family emphasized that their show will lean more towards a documentary style, focusing on genuine vulnerability and unfiltered honesty.
Their intention is to present an authentic portrayal of their lives, devoid of fabrication or staged moments, offering viewers a sincere glimpse into their world.
