Dongel revealed that she was raped in high school.
Already then, Dongel decided to tell everyone about it. “I worked all the time so I wasn’t at home. I didn’t have a childhood. I’ve told my friends about the abuse I’ve been subjected to, not just my mother.
I was subjected to my first sexual abuse in high school,” Dongel said. It was real hell for her and it was also the worst moment of her life. She didn't know how to deal with such situations. In some moments, she even tried to commit suicide.
“I couldn’t say it because my dad kept threatening to end my acting career and not let me go to school. I even tried to kill myself. I can’t remember how many times I was hospitalized. Then I regretted it and asked: ‘Why am I doing this to myself?’ But I couldn’t help it,” -she concluded.
