Brendan Fraser won the Best Actor in a Leading Role award for his performance in the movie 'The Whale' His career is at its pinnacle at this point and he is living the dream of every actor. It was a dream come true for Fraser.

Upon finding out that he had won the award, he gave a speech that speaks volumes about the man. In his remarks, Fraser expressed his gratitude to everyone who had a role in the story in some way. "My goodness, I thank the Academy for this honor and for our studio A24 for making such a bold fil," he said as quoted by marca.com "I'm grateful to [director] Darren Aronofsky for throwing me a creative lifeline and hauling me aboard the good ship The Whale.
