Between 2003 and 2004, he was engaged to actress Brooke Burns. On March 21, 2009, in the Caribbean islands of Turks and Caicos, Willis married model Emma Heming, with whom he had their fourth daughter, Mabel Ray, on April 1, 2012. On May 5, 2014, Evelyn Penn Willis was born, Willis' fifth child.
