Hollywood power couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis recently attended the premiere of their new Netflix movie, "Your Place or Mine," and the couple’s red carpet poses with Kutcher's co-star Reese Witherspoon became the talk of the internet.
But it seems that Kunis is not a fan of the poses either, as revealed by Witherspoon during her Monday guest appearance on "Today With Hoda & Jenna." “[Mila] even emailed us last night. She goes, ‘You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together,’” Witherspoon revealed.
“He’s so professional,” Witherspoon said of Kutcher. “He’s the funniest guy. I mean, such a goofball. We had so much fun and every time he’d wear a funny outfit I’d text Mila, like, ‘What is he wearing?’”
Witherspoon’s first Netflix film is a love letter to single mums
Witherspoon also shared her excitement about starring in her first Netflix movie, a romantic comedy.
The actress said that she tries to make her movies accessible to her audience and meet them where they are. “I try to watch what audiences are doing and mums who have two kids or they have older parents that they’re taking care of, that’s my audience,” she said. “I want to go to where they are.
I don’t want to have to expect them to come to me”. Witherspoon’s upcoming romantic comedy is a tribute to single mothers and explores the themes of second chances, hope, and optimism. “This movie is really a love letter to single mums,” Witherspoon said. “It’s about second chances and hope and optimism”.
Witherspoon is a mother of three, sharing her daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19, with her ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe. She also shares a son, Tennessee, with her husband Jim Toth. Meanwhile, Kutcher and Kunis, who got married in 2015, share two children a daughter Wyatt and son Dimitri.
Kutcher stays away from Witherspoon to avoid affair rumors
As Page Six previously reported, Kutcher admitted that he intentionally stood far away from Witherspoon on the red carpet to avoid any affair rumors. “Here’s the thing: If I put my arm around her and was, like, all friendly with her, I’d be having an affair with her,” the actor said on the "Chicks in the Office" podcast.
Kutcher's move highlights how rumors can escalate, even without any wrongdoing.
But in this case, it seems that everyone involved is in good spirits, and the playful jab by Kunis has only added to the light-hearted nature of the event.
