Salma Hayek has been making headlines with her recent admission that her husband, French businessman François-Henri Pinault, is not the least bit jealous of her male co-stars who play strippers in the new movie "Magic Mike's Last Dance".
In a recent interview with People magazine, Hayek shared details about her relationship with her husband and her co-stars.
The Power of Friendship on Set
Hayek speaks highly of her co-stars in the movie, revealing that she formed close bonds with each of them despite her initial misconceptions about them.
"I used to call him all the time [from set] and say, 'Oh my God, I feel so bad,' because I had this predisposition about how the guys, the strippers were going to be. But they're not. They're lovely. They're such great guys," Hayek shared.
Her husband, Pinault, also formed close relationships with the cast, even impressing them with his business savvy. "There was especially one [stripper] who would come and ask him advice for business. He spoke French and he knew everything about François.
He says, 'I'm a big fan.' He reacted more to François than to me!" Hayek exclaimed.
A Jealous-Free Marriage
Hayek and Pinault have been married since 2009 and have a daughter, Valentina, who is now 15 years old. The actress proudly shared that her husband is not a jealous man and that he was happy for her new-found friendships on set.
"My husband is not a jealous man," Hayek stated. "He came a couple of times to the set... By the end of the movie they all came to the house. They were all hanging out with me. Then François was saying, 'You're right, they're adorable, they're lovely.'
