New trailer: Prince Harry concerned Meghan Markle would end up like Princess Diana

The first trailer for Netflix's documentary series about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has arrived, and viewers particularly caught the eye by a detail where the duke is "afraid" that his wife will suffer the same fate as his mother, Princess Diana.
In the trailer of the series "Harry & Meghan", the Duke of Sussex explains, among other things, the history of poor treatment of women who become part of the royal family. “The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy,” Harry says as footage of his late mother, Princess Diana, as well as tabloid covers, display on screen.
“I realized they’re never going to protect you,” Markle adds. “I was terrified,” Harry responds. “I didn’t want history to repeat itself”. In the trailer, which lasts just over a minute, the couple is interviewed on camera while intimate photos of their lives behind the scenes are shown.
Also, Prince Harry is heard saying that no one sees "what goes on behind closed doors" and that he had to do everything to protect his family.

“I don’t believe almost anything that comes out of her mouth, and I think the damage she’s done to the British monarchy and to the Queen at a time when Prince Philip is lying in hospital is enormous and frankly contemptible,” Morgan told reporters outside his home in London following his resignation.
A Netflix spokesperson said that in the docu-series, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex share another side of their love story, and promised it would be a "never-before-seen look at one of the most talked-about couples in history." “No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors,” Harry, 38, narrated.
“When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?” Markle asked. Netflix has confirmed that the first three episodes of the long-awaited series will be released on December 8th, with the remaining three on December 15th.
