According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zoë Kravitz is currently in talks to appear opposite Austin Butler in the forthcoming film Caught Stealing, which will be directed by Darren Aronofsky. This movie was developed from Charlie Huston’s novel, which he turned into a screenplay himself.

The plot of "Caught Stealing" revolves around Hank Thompson, an ex-baseball player who has been living with his past glories for the longest time. Now residing in gritty 90’s New York City, Thompson unintentionally finds himself involved in a dangerous underworld adventure where he faces the city's most dangerous people and fights for his survival.

Protozoa Pictures, based in Aronofsky’s New York will produce it. And so, Aronofsky collaborates yet again with Ari Handel, and this partnership has previously produced critically acclaimed films such as π, Requiem For A Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Black Swan, Noah, mother!, and The Whale.

These two have also worked on projects like Tobias Lindholm's The Good Nurse, Pablo Larrain's Jackie, Lance Oppenheim's Some Kind Of Heaven, Josef Kobuta Wladyka's "Catch the Fair One, and Alex Pritz's documentary The Territory.

Austin Butler Takes Lead

Austin Butler is the lead actor on Caught Stealing. However, this became public knowledge only in March when he was featured among the antagonists of the Dune: Part Two picture, got nominated for an Oscar as Elvis and participated in The Bikeriders at last.

"I am excited to be teaming up with my old friends at Sony Pictures to bring Charlie's adrenaline-soaked roller-coaster ride to life," Writes Aronofsky. He further stated, "I can't wait to start working with Austin and my family of NYC filmmakers." Kravitz added Caught Stealing to her filmography before making her directorial debut with Blink Twice, which stars her fiancé Channing Tatum.

Recently she has had significant parts in The Batman, Kimi, High Fidelity, and Big Little Lies. As Zoë Kravitz continues to make a name for herself in the world of Hollywood films, CAA, Untitled Entertainment and attorney Bill Sobel at Edelstein, Laird & Sobel, and The Oriel help see to it that her career is on the right track.
