The latest film by director John Crowley is called 'We Live in Time,' and it will be released at the Toronto Film Festival. The movie, starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, explores the basic human emotions in as much as love that is across generations.

The trailer has been dropped this Wednesday and, to begin with, it begins dramatically when Almut, Pugh’s character, hits Tobias, Garfield’s character, with her car. This is how a wonderful cinematic mistake also becomes the beginning of a love story decades-long, which connects love, family, and life’s difficult trials.

During the process of watching the trailer, the audience is able to observe the main characters - Tobias and Almut, experiencing the ups and downs of life. A few episodes later, after the time has elapsed and recovering from his injuries, young Tobias, whom the neck brace no longer holds, thinks about an important conversation with Almut.

"I must leave," he states, though Almut intervenes by asking him why he is in a rush. This is his reply, "Because I’m worried there’s a very distinct and real possibility that I’m about to fall in love with you," which leads to an intense embrace that previews the-filled-with-passion movie the audience expects from the story.

Dark Secrets Loom

Their narrative continues under the circumstances of their pregnancy and Almut’s health complications as a couple who remain loyal to each other. However, some veiled dark energy is shown towards the end of the trailer, revealing that there may be some hidden issue that poses a threat to the core of the friendly relational framework that has been depicted in the trailer, which presents the couple’s life as filled with both laughter and tension.

Florence Pugh, an Oscar-nominated actress, brings depth to her role with notable performances in films like "Don’t Worry Darling," "The Wonder," and upcoming projects including "Oppenheimer" and "Dune: Part Two." With Andrew Garfield, who has starred in the recent series “Under the Banner of Heaven” as well as the Academy Award-nominated "Tick Tick … Boom!" he counters her with intricate and very vivid performance.

'We Live in Time' is an adaptation of a film that is directed by Crowley of StudioCanal in cooperation with the producer of 'Brooklyn' and 'Boy A,' the photodrama that made Garfield famous, as the screenwriter is playwright Nick Payne. Production credits include a notable team: Adam Ackland, Leah Clarke, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Guy Heeley.
