Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good - who have been dating since May 2023 - were recently spotted on the red carpet at the premiere of "Divorce in the Black." Tyler Perry's drama When Good plays bank professional Ava and her husband Dallas (Cree Hardrict) in a crumbling marriage.

Watching it, you could feel the chemistry that was simply an off-screen extension of their friendship. Majors, who stars in "Da Five Bloods," combined simplicity with elegance at the premiere wearing a black cardigan over and blue-and-white pinstripe shirt along with woolen trousers and loafers.

The event attracted the couple and highlighted their connection as they continue to step out in numbers, including at the 4th Annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards. On it, Majors acknowledged Good with some deep support during her darkest days while accepting the Perseverance Award-a year before being a COVID survivor hit its peak of conversation-starter urgency.

"Nights that you earned carried me, so so many nights," he said in recognition.

Shared Divorce Resonance

Both actors had been through divorces a times in life, so the story of "Divorce is Black" hits home for both. During the 30th ESSENCE Festival of Culture, Good, and Hardrict opened up about how they stood by each other during their separation throughout a real marriage is - on-stage counseling session.

"We've known each other for a really long time, and we support one another, so I celebrate his successes," Good told PEOPLE magazine of the camaraderie they share as people who are like-minded yet have very different experiences.

The journey for Good has been perhaps the most transformative. After going through a divorce with author DeVon Franklin in June 2022, she moved ahead and found comfort along with Majors. The minor assault and harassment charges against Majors initially appear to have been brushed aside by their relationship, as has the domestic dispute arrest that took place in March 2023.

They tried and Majors even professed his love to Good in a drug-fueled Hollywood Unlocked rant: "Meagan, I love you with all my mightI`ll never hurt you!" Good's role in "Divorce In the Black" -- premiering July 11 on Prime Video, represents a huge break for Good as an actress and is also meant to represent new beginnings both professionally but personally for this power couple.

While they continue to straddle the challenges life throws their way, theirs is a story of unique resilience and endurance.
