Sir Paul McCartney joined the other Beatles, Ringo Starr, in celebrating his birthday as he turned 84 this Sunday by sending his warm birthday wishes to Ringo. The day was given a double meaning as it marks McCartney’s father’s birthday as well, who passed away.

On Instagram, McCartney posted a cheerful photo of the two, embracing and both of them funny at the same time. Accompanying the image, he penned a touching message: "Happy birthday to Ringo and to my Dad! Hope Sir Richard Starkey has a fabulous day ????" This rather personal message shows how close they are after getting what might have been one of the most defining friendships of their lives during the peak of the band’s success while remaining friends long after they stepped out of the limelight.

Ringo Starr, the former drummer of the Beatles, Richard Starkey, embarks on this year, adding another year in his age and in line with his tradition, this is his time to celebrate his "Peace and Love" birthday in Los Angeles.

This event does not only represent his personal achievement, but, more importantly, it brings out the message of the need to create unity. This message has always been seen throughout most of his solo messages.

Star-Studded Birthday Bash

The event this year is going to be an excessive glorious party with legendary Joe Walsh of the Eagles, funny goofball Fred Armisen, and the environmentalist Ed Begley Jr.

These big-wigs are going to pay tribute to the legendary drummer, who has contributed a lot to change the music picture. Rita Wilson, actress and wife of actor Tom Hanks, also joined the chorus of well-wishers, offering her greetings with a poignant note: "Happy birthday, Ringo and happy heavenly birthday, Mr McCartney!"

Naturally, the importance of universal values will be amplified through the assistance of NASA and social networks; thus, Sir Ringo’s message to the people of the world is peace and unity.

Thus, this collaboration demonstrates his continuous efforts to make the world a better place, further using his stars’ power to make the necessary changes. A scheduled musical performance by other artists includes Ben Harper, Gabe Witcher Willie Watson, among others.

These vocalists, some of whom have opened with Sir Ringo, will keep his music alive through their performances to the world.
